MENTIONS:

SINGING LESSONS:

  1. Half of doing music is the music and half of it is philosophical.
  2. If the Musician’s feel like you don’t care they’re less likely to accept low money.
  3. You have to know the song, timing and how to sing.
  4. You have to be a good listener on stage.
  5. Traveling and singing is another big area of focus that you have to pay attention to if you’re going to do it. It needs research, communication—calling is always the best way to start—follow up is crucial.
  6. It’s all about relationships. Sales is not about selling the item.
  7. The thing you need to understand first is what you love.
  8. If you do what you love that’s most likely going to lead to some kind of success that you’re okay with. And if you do what you love it’s easier to focus on it – to be committed and consistent in your practice and learning of it.
  9. Be the best singer you can be and it doesn’t stop when you do a great show-that’s not the stopping point. There is no stopping point. You have to continue to be the best singer that you can be, because everyday you’re going to be a different singer.
  10. Consistency is really important.
  11. Being in the moment is crucial.
  12. Curiosity is creativity. When you are curious, when you are in that state of mind, it’s really you. Nobody else can be really you.
