SINGING LESSONS:

  1. All learning is a non linear and layered process. As you’re curious you’ll add more and more layers.
  2. If we can safely and kindly access all of what we hold in our bodies, we can bring it forth in the music. That’s when I think the music is most magical.
  3. Singing is presence. It requires the ultimate level of presence and there are a million things that are pulling your mind away from your musical intention.
  4. When we can have a practice outside of singing that helps us to learn how to let go of other things, and come back our intention, then we can take from that container of that separate practice, and  we can then apply it to the singing.
